Hocine Cherifi

Hocine Cherifi is a distinguished Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the National Polytechnic Institute in Grenoble in 1984. Prior to joining the University of Burgundy, he held faculty positions at Rouen University and Jean Monnet University in France as well as visiting positions at a number of prestigious institutions. His primary research interests lie in the fields of Computer Vision and Complex Networks. 

As an influential figure in his field, Hocine has made significant contributions to his areas of expertise: as an author of over 250 scientific papers and conference proceedings; by assuming leadership roles in more than 20 international conference organizations, including positions such as General Chair and Program Chair; and having served on over 100 program committees. Hocine Cherifi founded the International Conference on Complex Networks & their Applications.
