Reviewer #1: I have 2 comments :

1. The authors consider 4 classes of ressources with respect to production: hubbertian trend, multiple hubbertian trends, exponential trend, no hubbertian trend. Why don't they include the exponential trend as a special case of hubbertian trend, which is indeed exponential at the beginning?

2. As the authors indicate, there are different types of reason why the values of K and tau can vary over time, thus leading to multiple hubbertian trends: new discoveries of resource, technological progresses, variations in demand, geopolitical considerations etc. It would be very useful, when considering this class of resources, to indicate which kind of reason can be identified in each case, or why any specific reason could not be identified.
